Immunization Requirements

Bethune-Cookman University requires documented proof of receipt of immunizations prior to the entrance of the following:

  • Meningococcal vaccine,
  • Hepatitis B series and
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) - 2 Doses

Failure to comply will result in the student being placed on a registration hold. Students will not be able to register for classes or obtain residential housing until ALL MEDICAL RECORDS are complete.



If a student chooses to sign a waiver for any of the required immunizations –Hepatitis B and meningitis, please be aware that if there is an outbreak on campus, the student will be asked to leave the campus and will not be allowed to attend classes until the outbreak is under control, and verified by the Volusia County Health Department.
