B-CU, SBA Offer Free Entrepreneurship Certificate Program

Bethune-Cookman University and the U.S. Small Business Administration, North Florida are offering an Entrepreneurship Certificate program that is free and open to the public.

The program runs every Thursday from Jan. 29 to March 15, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  The classes will help current small business owners or those who wish to start their own businesses turn their ideas into reality. Classes, taught by B-CU professors, will include lessons on how to write a business plan, how to succeed in marketing and sales, and how to manage finances.

“The university and the College of Business and Entrepreneurship are determined to make a difference in the community through economic development,” said Dr. Aubrey Long, executive director of the B-CU Education Foundation.  “So, we are making our resources available to the community as a way to help residents realize their dreams of creating or improving their own businesses.”
