B-CU Welcomes Nearly 3,000 for Florida Annual Conference United Methodist Church

Daytona Beach, Florida - The United Methodist Churches of Florida will convene on the campus of Bethune-Cookman University this week, June 10th - June 13th.  The conference, themed Next Generations: Together in the Baptismal Waters, will welcome nearly 3,000 members for the four-day affair.  The event will offer various sessions, led by Reverend Adam Hamilton; a concert featuring the B-CU Concert Chorale; a 5K walk/run and more.

The B-CU administration is excited to host the Florida Annual Conference this year.  "This is a critical conference.  As a faith-based university, our involvement is a direct reflection of our focus, faith and strong connection in the United Methodist Church," says Rev. Allen, B-CU Chaplain.  According to the program, Rev. Hamilton's sessions will focus on the leadership of pastors and church executives with the United Methodist Church.  Hamilton will share strategies for building a healthy church.  The conference also offers activities for children and teens including a young adult gathering.
