Defining and Calculating Satisfactory Academic Progress :

Students receiving federal financial aid must demonstrate that they are making satisfactory academic progress (or positive forward movement) toward a degree.

- At the end of each semester, the Office of the Registrar will notify the Office of Student Financial Aid of all students’ academic standing.

- Afterwards, the Office of Student Financial Aid reviews the eligibility of each student receiving Title IV funds.

- To maintain eligibility for federally funded financial aid, a student must meet or exceed two sets of criteria, qualitative AND quantitative
